Hi all,

My name is Vlad and first of all - thank you very much for visiting my profile!

I will proceed with some information about me based on my own findings and is by far not complete and not faultless. Talking and acting mostly as I feel and believe sometimes I come across as an insensitive boor. I am trying always to think positive and to give my best by completing tasks. It doesn’t always work but it is always worth to try it. My motto “Memento mori” - originated in ancient Rom and in other words - look behind you and if you are on your peak today tomorrow you can fail.

Like you, I am very happy to be here and do my first steps in a new terrain of social psychology. Benjamin Franklin said: "There are three things extremely hard, Steel, a Diamond, and to know one's self." With this sentence he briefly described my intention to be here and to take the Social Psychology course by Prof. Plous. This and other MOOC initiatives offer unique opportunities to us to learn and to be able thinking out of the box. I strongly believe that MOOCs are first steps in direction of the education in the future.

And last but not least - I grew up in Yerevan, Armenia, and many years ago came to Berlin, Germany for study reasons. One of the first and most challenges were to change or better to adopt my social thinking formed by Armenian culture to German culture. In fact this process is an enduring one and still open. After my computer science study i worked a while in software development area. At some point of life I felt a need for changes and decided me for an MBA study. Currently I changed my job and work as a director in a consulting company.
