I am Xiaoyan Han, from China. You can call me Xiaoyan.

I am a seeker who is full of curiosity and love freedom & growth. I was born in the capital city of China. But my hometown is a small town. I went back to my hometown at the age of 4. I was always acting like a good student before entering the university. I started to try different things in the university. I might quit the class to attend some social activities.

My major is Finance and Law in the university. But my job is not related to my major at all. My first job is a recruiter in a very big company, Midea which has over 140,000 staff all over the world. Due to my curiosity about India history and culture, I joined in a startup from 2019 which focus on Indian market. From that time, I changed my roles and responsibilities in this company a lot, from Human Resource, Operation, Testing to Product Manager. I am always hard working when it is related to work. It was 996 style: working over 12 hours a day, six days a week. I was a workaholic. But I found the job did not worth at all. When the company faced some crisis, I started to know some conflicts among all the cofounders. I was admiring the founder, but I did find some weaknesses of him which would lead to the failure of this company. I was disappointed at it. But I also introspected myself, why not I know him earlier, so that I might avoid it. So I started to learn psychology.

Speaking about my hobbies:
1, Outdoor activities: Hiking\Mountaineering\Spelunking\Ice climbing etc
2, Cooking: I have been cooking for myself from past 2 years. I also seldom order take-out.
3, Public benefit
- I had a gap year during my university as a volunteer in a NGO. （2015-2016）
- I attended Kectil Program in 2017, It helped me to understand poverty in other areas, especially in Africa.

- I organized some friends to sponsor about 10 poor Chinese students to go to school together.(From 2021)
- I am a part of my friend's project to help young people(5000 students till now, they are all from normal universities in China instead of top universities) to find their own directions. I am one of the mentors. (still going on)
