Mr Patryk Wawrzynski, Ph.D.

Patryk Wawrzynski PhD: political researcher at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland, as well as a development coach and communication adviser. Interested in political culture and narratives, including the government's remembrance policy and a management of past experiences, the role of commitment and emotions in politics and remembrance, non-verbal communication and intercultural stereotyping.

Leading Investigator (Project's Manager) in the research project "Commitment, positive vs. negative emotions and the efficacy of politics of memory" (National Science Center in Kraków, DEC-2013/09/N/HS5/03103); Researcher in the research project "Politics of Memory as the Constitutional Factor of New Identity during the Transition from Authoritarian Regimes", lead by Prof. Joanna Marszałek-Kawa (National Science Center in Kraków, DEC-2012/05/E/HS5/02722); Leading Investigator in the research project "Committed memory: The Stalinist Crimes and narratives of the Institute of National Remembrance, 2000-2010" (NCU Faculty of Political Science and International Studies).
