Vlad Kogan

Vladimir Kogan is an addiction specialist and the founder and CEO of a leading holistic rehabilitation center; with facilities in Costa Rica and Panama. Vladimir has spent the last two decades studying the psychological role of which mental disorders or an addiction to substances, gambling or sex has on individuals.

Throughout his career, he noticed that many psychological problems were an underlying cause of substance abuse and self harm. Having worked with a vast number of people who had sought out the help of rehabs in the past, but were not effectively treated, he began to focus on finding effective therapies which put an emphasis on these underlying causes; thereby, culminating a healthy, long term recovery.

With his expertise, dedication and determination, he began to work with holistic healers, therapists, nutritionists and addiction specialists to devise a new type of rehabilitation program which treated the whole person, rather than the just the symptoms of the addiction or disorder. After several more years of research into this treatment approach, he and his team had a solid program consisting of holistic therapies, as well as, cognitive behavior, group and individual therapy. The profound difference in his approach was that these therapies were carefully modified for people dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, tension, anger, grief, guilt or addiction. Moreover, as the treatment progressed, the therapy would evolve to meet each individual’s development requirements.
Once this foundation had been laid, Vladimir went on to open one of the first holistic rehabs to treat the mind and body at the same time. Since then, his success has allowed him to open a second facility; therefore giving more individuals the chance to find health and happiness.

Although his treatment program has been commended by addiction experts throughout the world, Vladimir continues to research studies on the mind and the psychological role of addictions and mental disorders. His commitment to helping people is one which he says, “will last a lifetime”.
