I am a medical doctor, and an entrepreneur who founded and support a few medical companies. I am interested in Social Psychology as a tool to keep improving the way I work with people and lead teams towards success.
Born passionate for engineering, I completed through medical studies to lean how to use technology and make a positive impact.
I have developed:
- computer assisted surgery platforms, that help surgeons make more accurate interventions (as on my profile picture, from 1998);
- training systems for for training physicians like pilots are trained on flight simulators;
- stents used by cardiologists to repair vessels of the heart
None of this would have been possible without working with great people: success comes with caring for your team, and enjoying to work together.
To help these technologies make a difference for patients, I've had to also learn how to meet FDA and other regulatory requirements, achieve successful market adoption, and that every product delivered by my company is of top quality.
I have lived and worked in Canada, California, Singapore, a few places in Europe - I am now back in beautiful Switzerland.
