I am a retired educational administrator. My career began in 1970 integrating the staff at an all African American school in Pennsylvania. 18 years passed quickly and I segued into administration after receiving a masters degree and a principal's certificate---hoping to become a more affective catalyst of change in my field. A doctorate, 17 additional years and many rude awakenings followed. My positive and negative experiences have led me to hold 'certain self-evident' truths about the nature of human beings which I hope to have enlightened, questioned, rejected, explained, defined and maybe even understood in this phase of my life. These happenings include two happy marriages that ended painfully and a treasure - trove of diverse friends and relatives that span the decades and share everyday interactions. Yes, in retirement I keep active with my wine group, reading group, walking group, and travel group and now also with my Coursera Social Psychology Course!!!!
