Kelly Trowhill

Uncommonly dedicated.

I have been a police officer for nearly 24 years. In that time I have seen officers and other first responders suffer from a lack of psychological services. I aim to become a psychological practitioner to give back to the profession that has given so much to me and my family.
I am an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys triathlons and obstacle course racing.

  • William Heffernan

Heff was my mentor in both police work and my counselor. He taught me the value of listening to hear and talking to clarify.
  • Dr Wayne Hill
Dr Hill encouraged me to think about issues from the stand point of the person in the situation and then to look for solutions based on their insight.
  • Donald Trowhill
    Sanilac County Sheriff Dept. Retired.
My dad taught me to connect with people by meeting them on their level and focusing on them first. When I was a teen I rode along with him a lot and spent a lot of time in coffee shops talking to farmers. I learned a hell of a lot.
