To quote from the Princess Bride:

Inigo Montoya: Who are you?
Man in Black: No one of consequence.
Inigo Montoya: I must know...
Man in Black: Get used to disappointment.
Inigo Montoya: 'kay.

Okay, this is not enough to get back the SPN filter. So, just a brief note or two. Although, I am on LinkedIn, I am not on Facebook. I use LinkedIn because my employer requires it. Otherwise, I wish to remain as anonymous on the Internet as is reasonably possible.

As for social interaction, I guess I am old school. I prefer face to face contact over Facebook. The richness of a relationship is lost in the virtual world. What really matters are the lives you touch in personal, tangible ways.

Though some of these interactions can be transient, the relationship, no matter how fleeting it might be in the real world, can be done will respect, compassion, and understanding. Everyone is in need of a kind word, gentle touch, and loving action done with selfless soul.

Here is a quote Dallas Willard: The core of the person is what he or she loves, and that is bound up with what they worship - that insight recalibrates the radar for cultural analysis. The rituals and practices that form our loves spill out well beyond the sanctuary. Many secular liturgies are trying to get us to love some other kingdom and some other gods.
