Ms. Nino Nizharadze
Libertas est a natura
Hello! My name is Nino, I’m from Tbilisi, Georgia, and I’m excited to be part of the Social Psychology Network. I’m passionate about exploring the intersection of social dynamics, human behavior, and communication.
Professionally, my background combines translation, interpretation, and project management. I currently work as a freelance translator, with a special focus on historical and legal texts. This work has given me insight into how language shapes our identities and social interactions. I have also worked as an interpreter in conflict-adjacent zones, supporting survivors of war and violence. These experiences deepened my understanding of empathy and the importance of safe spaces for people in distress.
Academically, I have a Master I degree from Sorbonne University. Currently, I'm taking a course in social psychology, which closely aligns with my broader interests. I’m particularly fascinated by cross-cultural communication and cognitive science. I’m eager to explore how these fields intersect with social psychology, especially in the context of trauma, identity, and cultural difference.
Personally, I have a passion for languages and communication in all their forms and a deep interest in modern art and cultural exchange. I’m curious about how art intersects with psychology in terms of human behavior, expression, identity, liberty, and the impact of art on society in general.
On a personal and national level, I’m deeply committed to my country’s freedom, development, and Euro-Atlantic integration. I actively support initiatives that promote democratic values by fostering peace, inclusion, and dialogue. Whenever possible, I take pride in sharing my country’s rich history, vibrant culture, and ancient language with the world.
I look forward to connecting with others in the field and exchanging experiences and ideas to better understand the complex forces that shape human behavior in our social environments.
