“Minds are like parachutes – they only function when open.” - T. Dewar

Academic support staff in the Health Sciences Program at Montgomery College on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus in Maryland, USA. As part of Montgomery College, I strive to help the college achieve its vision of being a national model of educational excellence, opportunity, and student success before and after graduation. My personal goals include 1) to create an environment to improve the performance of all HS students, while accelerating the improvement in the performance of low-performing subgroups until they catch up to their peers. In addition we want to ensure all HS graduates continue to succeed in their future professions and/or academic pursuits. 2) To initiate and communicate extracurricular educational, professional, and social opportunities that enhances intellectual development for all Health Sciences students.
