Camille Nedelec-Lucas
Journalist-in-the-making, cultivating a critical eye
Hello my fellow MOOC-ers (...MOOCerians?),
Welcome to my page and thank you for stopping by!
I first became interested in Sociology because of my dream to become a journalist. I thought if one industry should have a 'sociological imagination' it should be the commentators and informers of our world - in other words, modern media (although sadly this often isn't the case - most reporting is about getting a reaction from your audience... but that's another conversation).
On exchange at Korea University, I took an introductory course in Sociology and was hooked, simply for the intellectual joy of it. I find humans the strangest and most fascinating subjects of all... which is why I'm really happy to be taking part in the Wellesley College MOOC.
