Smile each day no matter what.

Let's see where to start when talking about me. For many years I have been an artist using mainly graphite pencil to do portrait drawings and on occasion would take request to do drawings that others would want me to do. I am willing try try anything anyone would want me to draw. At one time I had run a business taking orders and fulfilling them for money and have sold them around the world, from Japan and England to almost every state in the United States. I have also entered my drawings in fairs and art shows where I have won many ribbons. I have trained in Kendo for many years and try to follow the basic concepts from Bushido to keep myself on the right path in life. I try to take the time to go out into nature whenever I can to regain a balance within myself from the hectic life of the busy city. On my free time I like to read and do fun events for the residents in the building I live in. I have taken on the role of Community Health Advocate through the Spokane Regional Health District and Spokane Housing Authority to help others learn and better their living situation and to help them make better choices on healthier eating. I have taken many courses to help myself in this area including many Psychological courses because many of the residents that live in low-income housing have mental health issues and come from traumatic background or are still currently feeling a trauma of some kind. The mental health issues combined with the physical concept of living a healthier life go hand in hand and I have taken it upon myself to try and help those living in the buildings I live in to maintain or better the lives they lead. I have personally had six head injuries and a defective heart that have slowed me down in life, but I still continue on to help others as I can. I really enjoy the work with others that I do and enjoy including people in the art that I construct also. I have a daughter and 4 lovely grand children that keep me busy when I am not doing the work that I do. I have taken several courses through Washington State Department of Health and other sources. The certificates for those can be seen in other places also, such as Facebook and the LInked In sites.
