I am a 26-year social activist and co-founder of ECODNEPR, the fastest growing environmental grassroots movement in Ukraine. We engage thousands of people in Ukraine into practical sustainability projects which connect people and make the real difference. And we help everyone to make this difference - giving easy-to-use instruments to start recycling, energy saving and educational activities on the local level.

I have not always been an activist. With the Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics I’d spent 6 years working in IT and Startups Business doing User Interface Design and System Analytics for clients. I really loved my craft but most of the problems those projects were trying to solve seemed irrelevant to me. While Humanity is facing a huge amount social, economical and environmental problems, I always wanted to be a part of the solution, rather than cause. That’s where ECODNEPR came in. In order to build the environmentally conscious society in Ukraine I quit my job and shifted to social work.

While mainly focused on offline activities now in future I want to integrate my IT and social skills together, resulting into new useful projects which can change the world.
