Kaylee Elizabeth Bahr
I am a current high school junior pursuing a future career in criminological psychology.
My city is one of the most segregated in America, has one of the highest rates of shootings per capita, is well-known for its gang activity, and is a hotspot for kidnappings. Knowing this, I have spent much of my time improving my community. I am a former intern and current volunteer at the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort (WAVE), co-founder of the AFS International Love Club at my school, and Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica member. In all of these things, I focus my time on helping my community become a more safe and more welcoming space for all, I hope I can continue to do the same in my future career.
