I am from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, a city known for its port. I now live in Keelung, another port city on the opposite side of the island.
I have a master's degree in family law, which is a fascinating field that reflects the social and cultural changes in Taiwan over the past two decades.
Although criminal law is not my specialty, I enjoy reading the novels of Ferdinand von Schirach, a German lawyer and writer who explores the limits of law and human nature. Those works make me look at the world with a softer and more empathetic attitude.
I have been working at Taiwan customs since 2016, mainly in charge of personnel management. I like to interact with my colleagues and help them with their issues. I also suggested some improvements to the work procedures, which earned me praise and recognition from my superiors.
In addition to my work and family, I have a passion for writing. I started writing in middle school, and I have a personal blog where I share my life stories, such as how I planned my own wedding, how I use digital tools to boost productivity, etc. I hope my articles can inspire and assist my readers, and I also welcome their feedback and communication.
Lastly, I am delighted to take the social psychology course and join Social Psychology Network. I believe that social psychology can help me better understand myself and others, and also help me make wiser decisions in life.
