25-year-old English teacher and teacher trainer, Juan was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. He's a great lover of traveling and, in fact, he could probably be defined as what some people call "Wanderlust". His second favorite activity to do when abroad is making new friends; the first one is eating, of course. He's an amateur cook who also loves reading, learning languages, having friendly talks with strangers and making people laugh.

He's been a teacher since 2010 and is now part of the staff of one of the top-notch English centers in Brazil. He believes in ongoing professional development and hopes to have the chance to promote lectures, courses and continuous professional training for teachers who wish to improve as professionals.

He has always taken great interest in Social Psychology and has recently become an Emotional Intelligence Specialist by the Brazilian Society for Emotional Intelligence (SBIE). Mainly because of the study field he has chosen, he sets great store on helping people be more aware of what they say and what meaning they convey. He is, and wishes to always be, open to new perspectives and, therefore, new realities.
