I just got my BA in economics this year, graduating from Nanjing University in China. Before entering the next stage of my life, I chose to pause and am currently in my Gap year to change major. The urge to understand myself motivated me to pursue knowledge in fields other than economics and finance. I 've studied sociology, news and communication since junior year, and had an experience serving as a human resource intern for a private company. It was not until this year that I finally decided to settle in the field of psychology, wishing to dig deeper in the science of human mind.

For the future, I am looking forward to being a psychologist who is able to apply the knowledge to solve real world problems, while conducting inspiring research. The topic of self-esteem, persuasion, relationships, development, wellbeing is among the many fields that I am passionate about.

In my spare time, I love reading books, exercising and watching TV shows. Aside from to gain weight and be healthier, I am doing daily exercise to get ready for a hike in the future (wish me good luck!). Also, I had a childhood dream to become a tailor, so I am planning to pick up sewing and knitting. You are welcomed to share your ideas with me if you have similar interests!

As for the three life-changing things happened in my life, the first two would be cultivating the habits of reading and exercising on a daily basis. The third one, which I want to address most, is becoming a minimalist. Try only to buy things that are necessary, don't fall in the trap of consumerism. Life could be much simpler and happier.
