Like many other art majors in college, I started my professional career in waiting tables. While it has been a passion and a strength, as my mom will tell you, she didn’t pay for me to become a bartender. She believed I was better suited for advertising (or a comedian!). So I spent the next 15 years after college searching for a “real job”, to prove to my mom I was a contributing member of society.

Before becoming an ADHD coach, I was a graphic designer (finally using that art degree), a realtor, a bar owner, a successful marketing manager (mom was right!), then a real estate marketing manager before starting my own company in 2018 in hospitality marketing. After realizing that I was struggling with symptoms of untreated ADHD as well as working with clients that exhibited their own signs, I took a certification course that would help me gain a better understanding of my client's motivations and my own. I became a certified ADHD Life Coach in 2021.

In 2022 I started bADDass Coaching to help individuals that struggle with ADHD achieve their goals in work and in life. I realized that what I once considered my strength was actually holding me back from being myself. I encourage clients to live authentically and rethink the rules when it comes to how they believe they should be doing with their lives. My experiences and newfound interest in my own ADHD and that of others have led me to pursue a career in organizational psychology. My goal is to apply to grad school so I can conduct further research on neurodivergence in the workplace and help businesses create policies that support neurodivergent employees instead of ostracizing them. I can continue working with my individual clients in addition to helping those within organizations looking for a change.
