My father was in the Armed Forces, and we lived in 5 different locations, including Montreal (Quebec), Chicoutimi (Quebec), Goose Bay (Labrador), Greenwood (Nova Scotia), and Ottawa (Ontario). After getting married, my wife and I lived in Toronto, Vancouver, and Port Coquitlam. We have 2 daughters, 3 grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter.

I worked in the Information Technology field for about 40 years, starting in 1973. I began as a programmer, eventually became a department manager, and for the last 7 years, I worked as an independent consultant.
