Natalie D. Hengstebeck

Social Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow

Natalie D. Hengstebeck is a postdoctoral fellow at the Research Triangle Chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network and is based at the the Duke Sanford School of Public Policy. Natalie earned her PhD in human development and family studies and research methodology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Natalie studied psychology; sociology; communications and media studies; and writing, rhetoric, and discourse at DePaul University. In addition to working as a Fulbright research fellow in the sociology department at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in the Netherlands, she has worked at the SAS Institute, RAND Corporation, and the National Research Center on Hispanic Children and Families.
