My name is Lily and I'm 36 years old. I was born in China and currently I'm located in the UK.

Like many of you, I developed an interest in psychology in the recent years and always feel curious to understand how human minds work. I graduated from The University of Melbourne, Australia with a BSc degree major in Biological Science. It's hard for me to avoid talking about evolution while trying to explain people's behaviour, however there are a lot more beyond that!

I am an experienced buyer and most of the time I worked in international organisations with multicultural environment. I also relocated a few times and lived in different countries such as Australia, Singapore, UK, France, etc. The exposure to different cultures, whether when I was working or spending time on leisure, has been exciting, eye-opening and sometimes even mind-shifting. Topics like politics, one's well-being, philosophy and equality are brought into to my mind naturally as life moves on. It is important for me to stay curious and open-minded like a child.

I enjoy reading, cooking and sightseeing. My reading tour in psychology started 3 years ago with Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. I believe they are both great thinkers despite of some different opinions from others. I wished to understand a bit more modern psychology and it was the Social Psychology course by Wesleyan University on Coursera that brought me here :)

I wish to have a new career opportunity in the field of psychology, however there are so many different directions and so many possibilities. Hopefully, my vision would get clearer as I explore further.
