I am busy enjoying live!

I am a pragmatic and reliable German girl, currently living in Spain. Before moving to Spain I used to live in New Zealand, Australia and Holland.

About 9 years agoI went to New Zealand in order to improve my English. I was supposed to stay there for 10 months only, but I ended up staying "down under" for a bit more than 2 years. There I indeed improved my English, but I also met my boyfriend, who is French/Colombian and learned how beautiful and tough Life can be. Coming back from New Zealand my boyfriend and I decided to go to Holland together and to make a career.

After living in the Netherlands for almost six years I decided to quit my career as a customer service manager and to dedicate my time to things that really matter to me. Two of these things are the environment and society. Since my childhood I had a great interest in nature and when adolescence came in protecting the environment. My interest in Society also came with my teenage-hood, when I noticed that I was not insider but also not an outsider and I wondered how society works and why people do the things they do. An eye opener for me was the book "Sophies World" by Jostein Gaarder. The book follows the events of Sophie Amundsen, a teenage girl living in Norway, and Alberto Knox, a middle aged philosopher who introduces her to philosophical thinking and the history of philosophy. This is exactly what happened to me and I started thinking more critically about my own actions. Strangely enough I never considered studying Philosophies or Psychology. Though, after gaining a certain financial status, I started following my inner senses, trying to change the world and enjoying live as much as possible. My ultimate goal is to have a Cafe one day, next to the beach, offering courses with regards to the environment and nature for kids and handicapped people.

My interests are climbing and Outdoor- Sports in general, handicrafts (check out my blog www.anjawize.npage.de), cooking, traveling and meeting new people. If I am not working or meeting other people I am busy studying and being curious.

From going through a lot of job interviews, interacting with different people like couchsurfing.org and meetup.com for instance and questioning my own but also others people actions, I learned not only how to give a positive impression, but also how to live a positive life.
