Aspiring to be a wise fool

I am fortunate to practice as a psychologist in the woods of Maine. This is a land of lakes, New England winters and small towns. My current academic interests are eTeaching and cross cultural psychology. My Buddhist community is centered in Rochester (NY). At home my interests include gardening, retirement planning and participating in online communities.

I'm seeking help from psychology minded individuals. I'm hoping to connect rural Maine students with mentors from other places, This would create wonderful opportunity to deepening their understanding of cross cultural psychology. If you're interested in this project, please do contact me. We can talk using Hangouts or Skype,

As this (calendar) year draws to a close I expect to be celebrating Rohatsu (Buddah's enlightenment) in Boston. Then (in the next five years) I will leave academia and perhaps train as a clown. In retirement I'd like to be of service to others. I am hoping to dwell for extended periods in rural communities and learn perhaps two new languages. I love sitting outside in early morning hours reading and sharing the porch with hummingbirds and red squirrels.

Fellow Social Psych Students - Please consider assisting me by suggesting how I might improve my SPN page. I've attached a narrative about it in the File Uploading area.
