I am a qualified, dedicated and experienced person with many years working in both public and private sectors. I am an adaptable, open-minded person, eager to learn new things, develop and get involved in a wide range of tasks. I graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) with a Bachelor of Arts and Major in Business Administration. My recent position working as Assistant to CEO cum External Affairs Executive for a local company operating in renewable energy sector since March 2020 until December 2021. I provide administrative support and assistance to CEO and the Board of Directors (BOD) in implementing the legal/ regulatory procedures (ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations) whilst maintaining and build trusted relationships with key industry sectors, partners, stakeholders and with relevant government entities to develop the renewable energy projects. Under this incumbent, one of my significant tasks is to act on behalf of the CEO in communicating with the foreign partners of company with respect to the information exchanging, negotiation of the business deals; coordinating and taking minutes of all meeting; circulate the task assignment to the in-charge persons, follow up with them and make sure their tasks are handled smoothly; and prepare detailed report/ recommendations on any potential issues to the CEO/ BOD as requested. Previously, I worked as a government official under Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam with the background in trade in goods and international economic integration issues. I had nearly 6 years of experience in studying, monitoring the Vietnamese foreign trade policy, legal documents in the commercial industry, and participating into various meetings of economic pillar within ASEAN countries and Asia Pacific region. I got used to the consultative responsibilities and coordination of multi-task associated with this profession and taking other administrative formalities. When I joined international and local meetings or workshops/ seminars, my responsibilities were preparing meeting agenda items and keeping minutes, as well as compiling, circulating post-meeting reports and media statements. I also frequently collaborated and liased with other representatives of government agencies/ competent authorities to gather and analyze their opinions recommendation or comments on trade policy related issues and make a report to the high-level officials. In addition, I experienced one year working at Australian Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (AusCham Viet Nam) as an Office Manager in Ha Noi. My roles and tasks focus on budget controlment; organize and co-ordinate workshops/ seminars, business briefings and monthly networking events; provide support to Board Directors in the bureaucratic process (draft and submit on time all correspondences and documents); attend member, sponsor and government functions, as appropriate. My daily tasks are also managing the website content, publications and public queries; producing weekly/ monthly e-newsletter, mailouts. These roles above require a strong diplomacy and an ability to communicate diverse team to a common goal and carry out the diverse range of responsibilities in a timely and effective manner. I thrive under pressure and have the ability to work fast, while maintaining a professional, friendly mind-set. In addition, before planning to organize or participate into such meetings, business trips or workshops, I have to make budget forecast, estimate the quantity and scope of delegates, seek and work with the venue, services providers/ event planning company as well as arrange the working schedules/ travel itinerary and other relevant administrative procedures. For instance, in order to hold the monthly business networking event, I have to seek and communicate with the potential venues and negotiate with them to agree to become our sponsors for the event to ensure costs are kept to a minimum and in turn giving sponsors a platform to communicate their business and products. With over 9 years working in both public and private sector, I possess good organizational skills and an ability to maintain a comprehensive picture while attending to details and logistics. I also have an ability to manage large teams of people while remaining calm and positive under pressure, especially in what can be difficult or urgent situations.
