I am an engineer working in the healthcare field. After gaining my bachelor's and master’s degrees in Mechanical and Industrial engineering respectively, I was enjoying leading quality and reliability engineering departments in industry, when a pivotal moment in life happened that changed my perspective and my career trajectory. A few years after the birth of my second child, I decided to harness my quality improvement knowledge and skills and my family’s experiences with healthcare delivery, and convert it into something deeply meaningful. I went on to get my MBA while while working in the field of healthcare quality improvement. I collaborated and contributed to improving the systems of healthcare delivery by applying the science of quality improvement and by improving the design and execution of processes. After working for seven years in a top pediatric hospital in the U.S, I am now making notable contributions in the adult healthcare world in a rural setting. I currently live in Alabama with my wife and two sons. I have a particular interest in measurement science and its application to improvement in everything in life. I enjoy beaches, hiking in woods, working out and rowing. I am also an avid audio book listener.
