Life has an uncanny way of surprising us, and I've become quite adept at embracing its twists and turns. Growing up in Brazil, I eventually found myself in the Netherlands, where I underwent a remarkable transformation. Not only did I change my career, but I also embraced a new lifestyle and even learned a different language. After completing my degree in Clinical Psychology, I charted a new course and ventured into the world of fine arts. It was during the same year of my graduation that I also took on the incredible journey of single motherhood. Later in life, as I entered my forties, I seized the opportunity to obtain a master's degree in media design, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. My professional journey led me to the software industry, where I dedicated over a decade to quality assurance and testing. Although this path had its merits, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to be done. I yearned to make a positive and meaningful impact on our remarkable planet. Driven by this desire, I sought further knowledge and recently embarked on a course through Coursera. My aim is to effectively communicate the urgency of climate change, using this newfound understanding to play a role in protecting the invaluable Amazon Rainforest. Additionally, I aspire to share my expertise with others, particularly at the technology event where I volunteer. It is there that I hope to empower individuals through the art of impactful communication. In essence, my plan is both simple and profound: to lead a purposeful life, to continue learning and growing, and to leave this world in a better state than I found it. Each step I take serves as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the remarkable power of education and communication. Together, we can create a difference that will resonate for generations to come.
