Hello:)

My name is Nora and I am currently a graduate student of International Business at Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka. I consider myself ambitious, communicative, organized, and creative person eager for new knowledge, skills and experiences.

Through the Coursera platform there are many courses I could choose from, and as I am studying economics many would think I would be listening to another economics subject, but no! I've always been interested in relationships between people, why we do what we do, and why some people are more attractive to us than others. Social Psychology seemed great to me so I could get to know myself better, as well as other people around me.
Favorite announcement from our Professor Scott Plous was when talking about confirmation bias: "When individuals and groups interact with each other, they usually have expectations. These expectations does not always receive a fair test, instead, people tend to seek out evidence that confirms their expectations and they give a greater weight to that evidence than to the one that disconfirm their expectations."

Every day I am pushing my limits and improving skills by working on myself and investing in my education. Therefore, I think I will learn something new, useful, and worthwhile on this course which can contribute to my current job as an HR Assistant, where the most important thing is dealing with and understanding people.

I'm excited about all the future opportunities, and where life will take me :)
