Hi, welcome to my page!
I am an eighteen year old girl from New Delhi, India. I am currently a freshman Biotechnology student in college striving to become a researcher and contribute towards the advancement of human health.
Belonging to a culturally diverse society I like to be aware regarding social disparities such as racism, sexism as well as something unique to my country that is casteism. I feel that as a human we can ignorant regarding situations which does not bother us, we tend to turn a blind eye, which I feel is not right, I might as well mention this philosophy of mine has landed me in some sticky Twitter debates.
At a humanitarian level I want to promote empathy because I feel it is lost in this world of capitalism, I feel empathy can solve lot of the problems in this world.
I believe that life is beautiful when there is a balance between happiness and pain because happiness is the reward of the growth one goes through during the times of pain.
I have previously completed an introductory course on Psychology by Yale University in order to understand myself and other people a little better as well as to educate myself in general on the subject.
