Dear Colleagues,

We are currently preparing a meta-analysis on the effects of dispositional self-control and its boundary conditions, using the Tangney, Baumeister, and Boone scale (2004), either the entire scale or an abbreviated version. We are now looking for unpublished manuscripts, in-press studies, or doctoral dissertations on this topic. Specifically, we are looking for studies that have used the self-control scale and linked it to any indicator of behavior, personality, social functioning, personal dispositions, mental or physical health and psychosocial well-being, or other. Especially welcome are studies involving the assessment of behavior. If you have such data, we would highly appreciate if you could make them available to us (e-mail: D.T.D.deRidder@uu.nl or c.finkenauer@psy.vu.nl).

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Best regards,

Denise de Ridder, Catrin Finkenauer, Gerty Lensvelt-Mulders, and Roy Baumeister
