Dear Colleagues and Friends:
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, is currently searching to fill a position for a quantitative methodologist with expertise in longitudinal design and analysis, structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, and dyadic data analysis. The position has been designed specifically for someone with a substantive content area in human development, developmental psychology, or family studies, but who is also has a high degree of training and expertise in advanced quantitative methods. In addition we are interested in someone who is open to collaboration with other faculty in the department, who will be highly involved in the training of graduate students, and who will be comfortable as a resource for grant preparation and research activities of other faculty. The position is being designed to minimize the teaching load that this person will be responsible for, but teaching, advising, and service are part of the position. Candidates that we will consider should have expertise in the more well-known statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, AMOS/EQS/LISREL, Stata, HLM, and Mplus) and should have demonstrated their expertise by publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals using these advanced techniques and statistics.
