 Job Announcement
Posted by: John B. Nezlek
Title/Position: Professor
School/Organization: College of William & Mary
Sent to listserv of: SPSP, SESP, SPSSI

Dear Colleagues:

The Department of Psychology of the College of William & Mary has an opening for a SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGIST (specific area of interest unimportant). The position is a one-year, non-tenure track position.

The job entails teaching 5 classes over the course of the year. These classes will most likely include intro to social psychology (a lecture with approximately 40-45 students) and a research methods class in social psychology (approximately 15 students) each semester. We will be conducting a search next fall to fill a tenure track position in social, and the person who fills this one-year position will be eligible to apply for that position.

Individuals who applied for the tenure eligible position in social we advertised earlier this year (and did not fill) do not have to re-apply for this one-year position. They do, however, need to send an email to: psysoc@wm.edu indicating their interest in being considered for the one year position.

New applicants will need to submit a vita and a letter of reference, preferably from the applicant's dissertation supervisor. Such new applications need to be filed electronically at the following URL:

https://www.wm.edu/psychology/search.php

Non-electronic applications will not be considered.
