Software for Building Social Psych Experiments

Hi everyone:

In response to the messages regarding software for building social psychology experiments, I would like to throw in a link to our WEXTOR:

http://psych-wextor.unizh.ch/wextor/en/

WEXTOR is a free Web service, so no installations are required.

WEXTOR includes a range of features that have been shown to be necessary or useful in Internet-based experimenting (e.g., non-obvious file naming, dropout control, high hurdle technique, seriousness technique, multiple site entry technique, meta tags, etc.). WEXTOR does resonse time measurement, and due to its visualization features and simple 10-step procedure, it is also very useful in teaching experimental design to students. A full list of features is available at:

http://psych-wextor.unizh.ch/wextor/en/features.php

Consider: Experiments created for Internet-based research can always also be used in the lab, but not vice versa.

Cheers,
Ulf
