Location: New York/New Jersey Metro Area

The research department at GoalQuest invites applications for the assistant director of research position. GoalQuest provides online programs, social networking forums, and surveys to over 100 universities across the United States. The purpose of these programs is to assist universities in meeting and exceeding their enrollment goals.

Appropriate candidates will have an M.S. or Ph.D. in psychology, education, or a related field and intermediate proficiency with SPSS analytic tools, syntax, and chart editor. A successful candidate must be intrinsically motivated to conduct analyses and study learning outcomes in a college-aged population. Experience in empirical manuscript writing, including a thesis or journal publication(s) where descriptive and inferential analyses were conducted is strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of conducting analysis and interpreting output from correlations, t-tests, and regression models (linear and logistic) is also required. Responsibilities will include the analysis and write-up of program outcome data for universities, presenting to university administrators, training company staff on research methodologies, writing conference proposals, and the development of new methods to evaluate program effectiveness.

Candidates must include a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and a writing sample (preferably a journal publication). In addition, candidates need to provide three references. These materials can be sent via email to Adam Troy, Ph.D. (Director of Research) at Atroy@goalquest.com.
