The University of Gloucestershire, set in the beautiful Cotswold town of Cheltenham Spa, is pleased to offer an opening for an experimental social psychologist. The post arises from a continued expansion in student numbers and an intention to further develop postgraduate provision and knowledge transfer activity in Psychology. The main focus of teaching will be within the undergraduate Psychology Field. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to a variety of areas of psychology but will be expected to make a significant contribution in the areas of experimental social psychology and undergraduate research methods and statistics. Research supervision opportunities are available to staff with the appropriate qualifications and experience. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to postgraduate provision. Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to actively engage in research and knowledge transfer activity.
