Candidates are asked to provide samples of their work (see the further particulars for details). Short-listed candidates may be invited to come to Cambridge to give a short seminar presentation on May 18 on an aspect of their current research and may subsequently be invited to attend for formal interview with the Faculty’s Appointments Committee on May 19.

The pensionable scale of stipends is currently £25,565 a year, rising by eleven annual increments to £39,452. Further information about working at Cambridge and the additional benefits provided, can be found under Cambridge Life on www.cam.ac.uk/jobs/

In common with many other Higher Education Institutions, the University is currently reviewing its arrangements for grading and pay. A new grading and pay structure is proposed based on a single job evaluation scheme and implementation is planned to take place during 2006.
