 Experimental Computer Games?

We are looking for an experimental game or task that participants play together online (or just believe they are playing together), from different computer terminals. Ideally, there will be a "chat window" in which they can exchange comments about the game. With this design we hope to be able to manipulate the amount of communication from others that subjects receive, manipulate performance feedback (positive or negative), and manipulate the amount of choice participants have in how they play the game. Does anybody know of a paradigm that may be modifiable for these purposes?

Thanks in advance!
