Lectureship in Social, Economic or Organizational Psychology

University of Exeter

A vacancy exists for an academic with an excellent research record and potential to join the Social Economic and Organizational Research Group in the School of Psychology (Ref 6670). This group is keen to attract a colleague who will enhance, and make a distinct contribution to, a strong, enthusiastic and friendly research group.

The successful applicant will have evidence of an existing or developing independent research programme within a relevant research area, an established record of high quality research publication, and preferably a record of successful application for research funding. The appointee will have the opportunity to develop specialist teaching at postgraduate or undergraduate level in her or his area of research expertise, but an ability to contribute to the School's teaching of statistics would also be welcome.

The appointment will be made at a level commensurate with the person's qualifications, skills and achievements. Salary for the above three positions will either be on the Lecturer scale £25,565 to £36,959pa with accelerated incremental progression or, for appropriately qualified applicants on the Senior Lecturer Scale up to £42,448pa.

Application packs are available from http://www.exeter.ac.uk/jobs2006; e-mail D.Brown@exeter.ac.uk quoting appropriate reference number. For further additional information or enquiries please contact Alex Haslam, Tom Postmes or Jolanda Jetten (e.g., A.Haslam@exeter.ac.uk).

Closing date for completed applications is 27 February 2006.
