The Political Psychology Research Group (PPRG) at Stanford University (directed by Prof. Jon Krosnick) is seeking to add a full-time post-doctoral fellowship to conduct creative, multi-disciplinary collaborative research exploring replicability in social and behavioral science research and best practices in research methodology.

Interested candidates should apply to the postdoc program funded by the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS - metrics.stanford.edu) and express an interest in working with PPRG.

Funding is guaranteed for the first year of a two-year award period. Funding for year two is possible as well. To be eligible to receive a second year of funding, expected progress must be met, program requirements must be completed, and the faculty sponsor must confirm continued willingness to sponsor/mentor the Fellow for a second year.

The fellowship will start no sooner than June 2020 and no later than September 2020. The stipend will be competitive, determined by the applicant’s qualifications. The postdoc will participate in various components of METRICS research and educational initiatives, in addition to working with PPRG.

Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, conferred at least two months before the start of the appointment, must have less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience, must have a track record of training and/or publications in fields relevant to meta-research, and must not have a faculty appointment or equivalent somewhere else.
