 Announcing: The Unlikely Academics Podcast
Posted by: Christopher F. Silver

Sent to listserv of: SESP, SPSSI
Date posted: April 2nd, 2019

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the launch of The Unlikely Academics Podcast:

http://www.theunlikelyacademic.com/

The podcast is aimed at undergraduates, graduate students, and early career professionals in general, but is focused on those individuals who might not fit the traditional academic mold for whatever reason (i.e., unlikely academics).

The Unlikely Academics Podcast covers a range of topics related to considering, applying to, and completing a grad program (and more!). The hosts offer a candid look at the "under belly" of the graduate school experience by reflecting on their own failures, successes, tips, and tricks in hopes they will be useful for others.

Check it out and please share with students! It's available on iTunes, Spotify, and more.

Unlikely Academics is on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/unlikelyacademics and Twitter at @UnlikelyEdu.
