The Department of Psychology of the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the personality-social psychology area to begin in academic year 2006. We encourage applications from candidates with strong research records in any subarea of social and/or personality psychology, especially women and minorities. The appointment requires that the Ph.D. be received by August 10, 2006. The review of candidates will begin on October 7, 2005 but applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Applicants should send their vita, copies of their most important scholarly papers, a research statement, and three letters of recommendation to: Faculty Search Committee, Department of Psychology, E-11 Seashore Hall, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA 52242-1407. The Department of Psychology has been experiencing a period of vigorous growth and enhancement, including a recently completed $5 million renovation of laboratory facilities.
