Sent to listserv of: SESP, SPSSI
Date posted: May 26th, 2014

The International Society for Justice Research is delighted to announce the winners of the ISJR Morton Deutsch Award, awarded annually to the best article published in the journal Social Justice Research.

Editors-in-chief and associate editors for Social Justice Research nominate the best article published in Social Justice Research every year, with preference given to contributions from investigators who are early in their research careers. The award is named after one of the society’s most prolific and influential contributors, Morton Deutsch.

Ali Kazemi and Kjell Törnblom, SJR Editors-in-chief, have now in collaboration with SJR associate editors determined that this year’s winners are Michael T. Parker and Ronnie Janoff-Bulman for their article:

Parker, M., & Janoff-Bulman, R. (2013). Lessons from morality-based social identity: The power of outgroup “hate”, not just ingroup “love”. Social Justice Research, 26, 81-96.
