Dear Colleagues,
NSF recently released an updated Dear Colleague Letter on Stimulating Research Related to the Science of Broadening Participation (SBP).

http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/nsf14038/nsf14038.jsp.

This is an effort to better understand the barriers that hinder and factors that enhance our ability to broaden participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). SBP-related proposals could focus on different positive and negative factors (including social, cultural, or institutional factors) impacting the participation of underrepresented individuals in STEM education and careers.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact me.

With best wishes,
Sally Dickerson
