Social: Why Our Brains Are Wired to Connect

Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to let you know that I have recently published a new book titled "Social: Why Our Brains Are Wired to Connect," and it examines the contributions that social cognitive neuroscience has made to understanding our human nature and more specifically our social nature.

It is a trade book written for a broad audience rather than for specialists and includes chapters on implications for well-being, education, and organizational/business contexts. I was quite pleased that one of the blurbs said that the book really "put the social into social neuroscience" because that was certainly my goal.

Best regards,
Matt Lieberman
