We are currently looking to recruit new members of academic staff to the school of psychology at the University of Nottingham. For anyone who is interested I have enclosed a copy of the job advert below.

School of Psychology

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader in Social or Health Psychology

Applications are invited for the above post from candidates with a strong record of research and teaching in social or health psychology. The School of Psychology has thriving research programmes and good facilities in the areas of cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience; behavioural neuroscience; social and health psychology; and developmental psychology. It was graded 5A in the last RAE and ranked in the top three departments in the UK in the Times’ Good University Guide for the discipline of psychology for two years running.

Duties will include research, teaching through lectures, practical classes, tutorials and project supervision as directed by the Head of School, and some administration. Most of the School's undergraduate teaching is for a BSc Psychology degree.

Candidates should have a proven track record in university teaching, research, publication and grant capture, especially for appointment to the higher grades.

Salary will be within the range £23,643 - £35,883 per annum (Lecturer scale) or £37,558 - £42,573 per annum (Senior Lecturer/Reader scale), depending on qualifications and experience.
