The Department of Psychology at the University of Toledo has been authorized to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor for the for the 2005-2006 academic year (August 15, 2005 to May 5, 2006). This is not a tenure-track position. Teaching assignments will be at the undergraduate level and will include such courses as introductory psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, statistics, and research methods. The major focus of the position is on teaching and a record of high quality previous teaching experience is desirable. A record of research productivity is also desirable and research activities will be encouraged and supported. The salary for this nine-month position will be $36,000. We prefer that all requirements for the Ph.D. degree be completed by August 15, 2005.

The Department of Psychology currently has 20 full-time faculty members, over 400 undergraduate majors, and 50 doctoral students.
