Join an interdisciplinary community of scholars investigating human and social dynamics and help develop a research program and online course.

The Center for Human Science, located adjacent to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, provides housing and research support to graduate students and visiting faculty in the cognitive, social, and behavioral sciences. Currently, 14 Fellows representing 12 departments are in residence.

The Center is directed by social psychologist Bibb Latané, whose dynamic social impact theory is used as an overarching theoretical framework for studying the organization, evolution, and geographic spread of beliefs, values, and other cultural elements.

Qualifications: Ph.D. or ABD in relevant area; Demonstrated research/writing skills.

Duties: 50% collaborative research on dynamic social impact; 25% help develop and teach interdisciplinary course; 25% help coordinate community activities.
