Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Social or Personality Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Social or Personality Psychology beginning July 1, 2013. The Ph.D. degree is required at the time of the appointment, and applicants should have a significant record or promise of outstanding research. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

We are seeking applicants with research interests related to health and/or well-being, broadly defined. Applicants should be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education and provide evidence, if available. Proficiency in quantitative methods sufficient to teach such courses at the graduate level would be especially welcome.

Review of completed applications will begin December 1, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled. Interested candidates should e-mail electronic copies of their curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing their interest in and fit for the position, research and teaching statements, reprints and preprints, if available to Psy1App@ucr.edu and arrange to have at least three signed letters of recommendation e-mailed to Psy1Rec@ucr.edu.
