Post-doctoral position in stereotyping and social cognition

Available August 1, 2005. Funding for full-time postdoctoral research position for two years. The position offers the possibility of pursuing a full-time program of advanced academic preparation and research training under faculty mentorship while carrying out research on the automatic and controlled components of stereotyping and prejudice. Successful applicants will possess a Ph.D. in social or a closely related field of psychology, and strong statistical and writing skills. Interested candidates should forward a CV, statement of research interests, and contact information of two or three references to Jeff Sherman, jsherman@ucdavis.edu. Review of applications will continue until position is filled.
