I would like to use the Cook-Medley Hostility (Ho) scale in an upcoming study that includes cardiovascular measures. This is comprised of items from the MMPI (now the MMPI-2). Journal articles I have located provide item numbers but not actual item content. The MMPI-2 is copyrighted/royalty fee for use through Pearson Assessments.
My question: Is there a pre-copyright/ public domain version of this scale available (with actual item content and scoring key)? Or is it necessary to purchase rights for the entire MMPI-2 to use this scale?
