 Data Sharing and Free Data

Dear SPSP members,

As some of you might know, I am a big fan of data sharing. Marjan Bakker and I just wrote this editorial for Intelligence in which we argue that one should always publish the raw data (or at the very least the full descriptive statistics) as an appendix to an empirical journal article.

As an example we also uploaded a wealthy data file that you may use in your research or education. The data file was inadvertently (and ironically!) not uploaded by the folks at Elsevier’s Sciencedirect, but the data can be found on my website also.
